No próximo dia 28, Jair Alves de Souza iria cumprir o sagrado ofício que cumpria há mais de cinquenta anos<\/strong>: viajar a cidade de Campinas, subir ao palco e cantar. Algo comum para um artista acostumado a fazer seu trabalho bem feito há tanto tempo.<\/p>\n

O mesmo ofício seguido anos depois pelo jovem Renato Manfredini Junior, o Renato Russo, que adorava a voz ímpar, quase “operática” – e ao mesmo tempo pop de Jair.<\/p>\n

<\/iframe><\/p>\nEm verdade, é preciso dizer: poucos ligavam o nome de Jair ao de um astro. Mas muitos se encantaram pela música e doçura humana de Jerry Adriani<\/strong>, que nos deixou neste 23 de abril de 2017 aos 70 anos.<\/p>\nA Jovem Guarda <\/strong><\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"390\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Wkrc5cT21YY\" width=\"100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\nNascido no Brás de imigrantes italianos em 29 de janeiro de 1947, Jerry Adriani atingiu o ápice artístico na era da Jovem Guarda. Justamente em 1964, enquanto os Beatles invadiam a América, Adriani lançava um disco antagônico para a beat music<\/em> do grupo de Liverpool: o LP Italianíssimo, <\/strong>seguido por Credi a Me –<\/strong> acredite em mim, em italiano.<\/p>\nNos anos 60, aliás, música italiana era muito poderosa no cenário pop e Jerry aproveitou o conhecimento do idioma ensinado pela avó na infância para se destacar.<\/p>\nSendo assim, o jovem Jerry começava a conquistar seu espaço ao lado de outros gigantes do momento, como Roberto e Erasmo.<\/p>\nNa TV e no Cinema<\/strong><\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"390\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/p_rYZVvVW64\" width=\"100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\nSeu primeiro disco em português foi Um Grande Amor,<\/strong> de 1965 – um grande sucesso comercial, que o levou a apresentar um programa na TV Excelsior de São Paulo.  <\/p>\nO bom desempenho o levou à TV Tupi, onde ficou dois anos em outro programa, A Grande Parada, com participação de atrizes como Betty Faria e Marília Pera. A extinta Tupi, vale lembrar, foi o “berço artístico” de Jerry Adriani. O canal o lançou no showbiz, como vocalista do grupo Os Rebeldes.<\/p>\nNo cinema, atuou em três filmes: Essa Gatinha é Minha, Jerry, A Grande Parada<\/strong> e Jerry em Busca do Tesouro<\/strong>.<\/p>\nA ligação com Raul Seixas<\/strong><\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"390\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/wEYp6-8sQN0\" width=\"100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\nPor muito tempo, Raulzito e os Panteras foram músicos de apoio de Jerry Adriani até o momento de Raul Seixas brilhar como astro solo. Raul, aliás, chegou a produzir três discos de Jerry, bastante elogiados pela crítica, lançados em 1970 e 1971, com composições de Hyldon, Demétrius e do próprio Raul.<\/p>\nO fator Renato Russo<\/strong><\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"390\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/9n_fotWxL7E\" width=\"100%\"><\/iframe><\/p>\nRenato e Jair tinham algo em comum: ambos achavam suas vozes parecidas. Infelizmente, não chegaram a gravar juntos. Em 1999, Jerry gravou o CD Forza Sempre, onde interpreta hits da Legião Urbana em italiano – uma bela homenagem com Carlos Trilha – o mesmo parceiro do grupo de Brasília – e produtor de Equilibrio Distante,<\/strong> de Renato Russo.<\/p>\nSeja onde estiver, Jerry e Renato estão juntos agora fazendo o que mais gostam. Cumprindo o ofício de cantor.
