A família de Ed Townsend, um dos compositores da faixa lançada em 1973, processou judicialmente o britânico sob a justificativa de que ambas as músicas possuem o mesmo ritmo e a mesma sequência de acordes.<\/p>\n

Na última terça-feira (25), Sheeran compareceu ao tribunal para julgamento em Nova York, nos Estados Unidos. Em relação às acusações, de acordo com a Rolling Stone, ele afirmou: “Acredito que a maioria das canções pop é construída com elementos disponíveis gratuitamente há centenas de anos”. A decisão do júri deve ser tomada em alguns dias. <\/p>\n
